What stands out – both good and bad
The attentive staff created a cozy atmosphere which enhanced our experience. The location was fantastic for exploring downtown and the charming decor made us feel right at home.
Noise from the restaurant during private events was disruptive, making it hard to fully enjoy the night. Additionally, the small room size limited our comfort when settling in.

good stay but some inconsistencies
The short walk to downtown made it convenient for exploring. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attending to our needs promptly. After a long day, we appreciated the soaking tub in our room, which became a highlight of our stay. The dining experience at the on-site restaurant was memorable, particularly the perfectly cooked steak that really exceeded our expectations.

Charming aesthetics greet you at this lovely inn, with attentiveness from staff that truly enhances the experience. The restaurant stands out with exceptional dishes. the grilled fish was perfectly cooked. However, Room 10 felt cramped for two, especially with heavy luggage and the third-floor stairs to navigate. Breakfast lacked freshness, with clotted cream and basic setups that seemed out of place for a boutique hotel.

We stayed in Room 10, and honestly, it felt WAY TOO SMALL for two people. The elevator helped, but we still had to deal with stairs to get to our room, which was annoying with our heavy luggage. The room itself had some charm, but the size was a total downer. Otherwise, the restaurant was great and the whole place was spotless. Perfect location though!

Had an amazing time with friends. We did a fun scavenger hunt adventure using our phones, hitting up The Dales for some classic tunes and catching James Houlahan's heartfelt music. The place was cozy, the vibe was perfect, and breakfast was delicious!
We didn't get to enjoy dinner, which was a bummer since we heard it was the BEST.
